Meet Lisa!

As the owner and publisher Gulf Breeze News and Splash! Magazine since 2001, I have seen a lot of changes in our area.

By talking to residents, I learned how political decisions affect Floridians every day, and now, after decades of Republican leadership, we are experiencing soaring property insurance rates, the lowest teacher pay in the U.S. and our environment is in peril while lawmakers deny the effects of climate change.

I am fed up with the way the extremist Republican legislature is running our state, and I am ready to get the message out: voters have a CHOICE this election!  We won't let Don Gaetz walk into office without an opponent, further securing the Matt Gaetz and Don Gaetz dynasty.

I am determined to take a stand for women's rights, advocate for responsible environmental policies, for higher teacher pay, equality for the LGBTQ+ community and a more affordable cost of living for all. I demand we lower property insurance rates and give Floridians someone new to vote for this election. 

I believe we need a strong two-party system. As stone sharpens stone, there should be a competition for ideas that will benefit the people of our area.
